An instrument play-along provides many opportunities to practice social skills. We ask the Cuddly Koalas to get instruments for themselves, they wait their turn, interact with the teacher and with their friends as they play, and at the end, they work with the group to put the instruments away and get ready for the next activity. These are all big steps in developing cooperation, relationships, and empathy.
