Our child doesn’t speak any English. Can we still register her with your kindergarten?
Yes, of course! In fact many children joining Happy Kids come from many different countries. Our qualified native English speaking teaching staff has the experience and training to ensure that non-English speaking children pick up the basics of the language as quickly as possible. One of our main goals is to enable the child to quickly integrate and be able to communicate in English in the classroom.
How do I register?
Parents wishing to register their child usually come to Happy Kids in person for a guided tour and meeting with our director and relevant teaching staff. They are asked to complete an application form, medical history and provide a doctors certificate. A once only registration fee will secure a place for their child (subject to space availability).
What is the average class size?
Happy Kids class groups range in age from 1,5 to 7 years and average about 15 children.
What is your teacher/child ratio?
One adult/approximately 6 children. This can vary according to age.
Can my child learn Hungarian?
We offer a Hungarian language and culture program once a week, for both native Hungarian children and foreign children.
Is there a regular newsletter informing on the actual programs and activities of the kindergarten?
Yes, we publish it every other month.
What happens if the class group is full?
Your child will be placed on a waiting list and you would be advised as soon as a vacancy becomes available.
Can you send me information on your fees?
A Financial Policy covering the 2020-2021 school year will be sent on request.
