In responding to music, the Cuddly Koalas are learning to listen, evaluate, and then coordinate their body’s movements to interpret and react to the music’s rhythm, beat, and mood. Combining movement and music can help children express their feelings, as well as teach them patterns, pulse, rhyme, and structure, all without the need for spoken language.
