The children explored the concept of stalemate in chess, discovering how a game can end in a draw when no legal moves remain. Building on this, they continued to deepen their understanding of chess pieces and their unique movements across the board. Through engaging games, storytelling, and hands-on practice, the children followed the concepts of files and ranks, learning how each move connects to strategy and planning. It was wonderful to see their growing confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills as they navigated the chessboard like young thinkers in action.
