The Cheeky Monkeys had a fantastic time learning all about the pawn and how it moves across the chessboard. Working in two teams, they explored the special features of this important piece and practised moving it correctly during friendly games. Through teamwork and play, the children deepened their understanding of ranks and files, building confidence as they navigated the board. It was wonderful to see their focus, cooperation, and growing strategic thinking in action.
