Through engaging and hands-on activities, the Cheeky Monkeys deepened their understanding of chess by exploring the different pieces, their roles, and how they move across the board. As they navigated along the ranks and files, they not only strengthened their knowledge of the game but also developed critical thinking, focus, and problem-solving skills. It was wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they confidently applied their learning, turning each move into a thoughtful decision.
