This week, each Brilliant Panda had a wonderful musical adventure, learning how sounds and silences work together with quarter notes (ta) and quarter rests (sh). They loved tapping and clapping with their colourful Lumi sticks, bringing rhythm patterns to life with energy and joy. During Diego’s story, each Brilliant Panda helped him find a quieter instrument, moving, singing, and shouting “Olé” with big smiles. Every child explored the resonator bars, making the playful “hee-haw” sound and experimenting with different tones. These activities helped them practise keeping a steady beat, recognising rhythms, and building early music-reading skills. Creativity and imagination shone through every action, sound, and pause. Each Brilliant Panda is making amazing progress and developing a real love for music that will continue to grow with every session.
