Over the past week, the children explored ideas connected to our Unit of Inquiry. First, we read a story together, and the children brought it to life by acting out parts of the story using their movements and expressions. Afterwards, we discussed the grass habitat and talked about the animals that live there. To deepen their understanding, the children then took part in a sorting activity where they decided which animals live in the grass habitat and which do not. These activities encouraged thinking, discussion, and active participation while helping.
