The Cheeky Monkeys explored the exciting world of mixed-media art as they created beautiful flower artworks using newspapers, scrap paper, crayons, and glue. Through this creative experience, children practised the technique of ripping paper to form different shapes and objects, helping to strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. They carefully selected materials, experimented with textures and colours, and combined different art elements to bring their unique flower creations to life. The activity encouraged imagination, creativity, and problem-solving as the children discovered how everyday materials can be transformed into meaningful works of art. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they expressed their ideas so freely and proudly shared their finished masterpieces.
