This week in Music and Drama, our Brilliant Pandas dived into the theme “Marvellous Me!” with excitement and growing confidence. The children explored a variety of shakers, discovering how to create gentle rustles, bold rattles, and energetic shake patterns to match the music. They experimented with fast and slow tempos, learning how their movements could change the sound and mood of each activity. Through group dances and playful sound exploration, the Pandas strengthened their coordination and developed a clearer sense of steady beat. Many children showed pride as they experimented with different timbres, discovering which sounds they enjoyed most. They also practised stopping and starting on cue, building important listening and focus skills. With plenty of smiles and laughter, the Brilliant Pandas expressed themselves freely through music, movement, and imaginative play. It was a wonderful week of growing independence, creativity, and musical curiosity.
