The Friendly Frogs children extended their knowledge and understanding of birds. They carefully observed some pictures of birds and identified their main characteristics with the help of their art teacher. They made paper plate birds by painting them with tempera paint and sponges, sticking feathers, wiggly eyes, paper beaks, and other important body parts onto their bird samples to the best of their knowledge and interests.
