This lesson was all about pretend! Friendly Frogs liked to pretend to be different creatures that we can find in our garden. They enjoyed being little bees, who buzz from flower to flower and collect nectar and pollen to make the honey.

Pretending or imaginative play is more than just a fun way for children to entertain themselves-it’s actually a complex process that builds skills in a number of different developmental areas. By pretending, imagining, dramatizing, and experimenting, the Frogs build language and communication skills, develop their capacity for empathy and cooperation, and practice creative problem solving.
