This lesson focused on pretend play. The Friendly Frogs had a wonderful time imagining themselves as different garden creatures. One of their favourite roles was being little bees, buzzing from flower to flower, collecting nectar and pollen to make honey. Imaginative play is much more than just fun—it supports learning and development across many areas. Through pretending, dramatising, and experimenting, children strengthen their language and communication skills, build empathy and cooperation, and develop creative problem-solving abilities.
