The children participated in a fantastic project to help our feathered friends during the colder months. They began by mixing birdseed with lard, carefully filling shape cutters to create bird treats. Once the mixture had cooled and set, the treats were placed outside on the bushes alongside pictures of different birds.
Now, we wait and watch, hoping to see birds visit and enjoy their special feast.
