The Cheeky Monkeys children made layered hearts during one of their visual arts lessons. First, they drew concentric hearts with oil pastels, and then, they painted the gaps between the hearts with watercolour. Although the children experienced the oil pastels’ amazing water-resistant effect many times already, they always enjoy using the watercolour-resistant painting technique.
