Children learn through repetition. Each time Cheeky Monkeys are exposed to a new object or experience, new neural connections are made in their brain. Through repetition, these connections are strengthened and learning occurs. Each of our classes is designed to repeat certain activities-such as the Goodbye song-in part because of this important connection between repetition and learning, and also because the routine created through repetition helps to foster and strengthen our  class community. Ritual and repetition at home are important components of a predictable and nurturing home and family life as well.
