We have had a busy fortnight in the Cheeky Monkeys with the Halloween party. The children displayed some amazing costumes and participated in various indoor and outdoor games. In Mathematics, the children have been consolidating their knowledge of 2D shapes with a shape hunt outside. The children have been focussing on the properties of the 2D shapes by counting the sides and corners of each. In the Unit of Inquiry, the children started a new topic, ‘Crossing Cultures,’ by studying the world map and discussing the continents and countries of the world.
