We have had a busy fortnight in the Cheeky Monkeys, and preparations are ongoing for Valentine’s Day. In the Unit of Inquiry, the children finished their topic on the weather. They experimented with creating a tornado in a water bottle by moving the bottle in a circular motion to create a whirlwind. At the end of the week, the children celebrated Carnival with many indoor and outdoor games and activities and dressed in various colourful costumes.
