We had a busy first week back when we travelled to the Csopa Science Centre. The children participated in exciting experiments and explored each room, covering different themes such as magnetic fields, the Earth and space, and forces and motion. At the beginning of the week, the children built an imaginary story based on a writing stimulus from the Literacy Shed. They first plotted the stories on a story map before retelling them to the class. In ICT, children focus on ‘Technology Around Us’ and the impact of technology on the modern world.
