We have had another eventful two weeks. First, we celebrated Environmental Day and performed for our parents. The children made a banner that read, ’One for all, all for one,’ which was inspired by one of our kind classmates. For the field trip, The Cheeky Monkeys visited Margit Island and enjoyed the signs of summer in the Japanese Gardens. Meanwhile, in Maths, the children have been introduced to British coins and recognise the value of each coin. They used their adding skills to buy and sell fruits in their role play fruit shop and they are beginning to use the language of currency with words like pounds and pence.
