The Cheeky Monkeys have been learning about the places in our community and about maps in our Unit of Inquiry. The teacher used Google Earth to show the children where Budapest is and we located Happy Kids on the map by typing the address in the search bar. The children learnt how to navigate on the tablet by moving up and down the street, zooming in and out and moving the screen around. The children then located their house on the map and they were encouraged to learn their address.
