With the warm spring weather upon us, it is a given that we spend more time outdoors. One project we are undertaking is gardening and planting flowers. The Cheeky Monkeys helped weed and turn the soil to get it ready for planting. The first to go in was marigolds. This bright orange flower brings some much-needed colour to welcome spring. We also started planting indoors into small containers. We will plant some vegetables as well. Mother’s Day preparations went well and children created special crafts to give to their mums. The celebration of Mother’s Day was truly touching.
