The Cheeky Monkeys were busy on their Unit of Inquiry about Community, which is coming to a close. We explored what a community should have and the children paired up to build their own community with streets, buildings and parks. After that, we talked a little about mapping and the children drew the classroom from their perspective. In maths, we looked at the four basic shapes and the children did some centre activities with the different shapes.
