We have had another eventful two weeks in the Brilliant Pandas class. The children learned about Diwali as the festival of light and crafted their own candles to display on our classroom window. In Mathematics, the children continued to practice their number formation and early addition skills while reading the story ‘One is a Snail’ by April Pulley Sayre and Jeff Sayre. The children learned to combine the animals in the story to find different totals. In Phonics, we have been continuing with our sounds and letter formation. The children have just finished the group 3 sounds and will be moving on to learning digraphs next week.
