Happy Kids International Kindergarten / Nursery is Budapest's premier English language nursery/kindergarten established in 1999. The Kindergarten is operated via a foundation registered in Hungary, run by Peter Jones and his wife Suzy, from Australia. „HAPPY KIDS” is fully licensed complying with all education, safety, fire and health department regulations and is housed in a newly modernised purpose built facility.
The building is surrounded by a large secure playground and children's road safety track. All outdoor playground equipment incuding rubber surface football field conforms to EU standards. The Kindergarten takes great pride in personalized individual development based on each child's ability to effectively communicate in English, the language of instruction. Approximately 70 % of children come from many different parts of the world, as do our internationally experienced teaching staff. We truly offer a rich multi-cultural international environment for all our children, regardless of language, race or religion. Happy Kids accepts children from age 1,5 years to 7 years. Class sizes range from 12 to 18 children. The main classroom teachers are qualified native english speakers who take part in regular staff training and development conferences.
Happy Kids offers a rich selection of sporting programs including: swimming, skiing, skating, dance/ballet, judo, pony riding and indoor sports programs in its own gymnasium.
Classrooms feature technology centers where children use computers on a daily basis. The Happy Kids library offers a selection of children's English language books available for parents to borrow.
